New brand in car financing

Merkantil Bank Zrt and Magyar Suzuki Corporation have signed a 7-year agreement to provide car purchase financing for customers.  Under the agreement, Merkantil Bank will provide financing plans on highly advantageous conditions for customers buying Suzuki vehicles in a program, brand-named “Suzuki Finanszírozás” (Suzuki Financing).

Merkantil Bank Zrt and  Magyar Suzuki Corporation on November 2^nd signed a seven-year agreement to provide car purchase financing plans for customers.

“By signing the agreement, Magyar Suzuki Corporation ensures a permanent offer of competitive and attractive financing plans for its customers,” declared Magyar Suzuki’s Executive General Manager Róbert Krisztián. “ Merkantil Bank is the leading player of Hungary’s vehicle financing market, providing highly favorable financing services,” he explained. “We expect the attractive financing plans to further boost Suzuki’s dynamic growth of sales.”

“This strategic cooperation agreement ensures a key financer position for Merkantil Bank on the Suzuki market,” the bank’s deputy CEO Norbert Szaniszló said at the signing event. “In the future, the bank will provide its financial services for Suzuki customers in the framework of a plan brand-named “Suzuki Finanszírozás” (Suzuki Financing).

The agreement is the continuation of the two parties’ strategic partnership. Merkantil Bank has been providing vehicle  purchase loans on highly favourable terms for Suzuki buyers since 2003. With the new agreement signed, Suzuki Pénzügyi Szolgáltató Zrt. (Suzuki Financial Services Ltd.), the joint financial servives company of Merkantil Bank, Suzuki and Itochu, launched in 2003 will be closed down.
