Suzuki starts production and sales of the Ertiga in Myanmar
Suzuki Motor Corporation’s subsidiary, Suzuki (Myamar) Motor Co., Ltd. (SMMC), has today announced start of production of three-row seven-seater MPV Ertiga. It will be on sale from the end of July at Suzuki dealers in Myanmar.
Myanmar is the third country to produce the Ertiga, after India and Indonesia that also produces the model.
As part of its initiative to expand lineup, production, and sales of automobiles in Myanmar, SMMC will produce the Ertiga at its plant located in South Dagon, Yangon. Monthly production target is planned to be 100 units.
Ertiga is a compact MPV with three rows for seven passengers. It has a modern design and a roomy interior and cabin space, while realizing great maneuverability on narrow roads and in parking owing to its minimum turning radius of 5.2m.
The 1.4L engine combines excellent driving performance and fuel efficiency, delivering smooth driving.
