Suzuki model became the audience favorite of the year again

Magyar Suzuki Corporation’s model, the Suzuki S-Cross won the audience prize of the Hungarian Car of the Year competition announced for the third time.

26 brands submitted their 58 nominations for the competition, and two domestic car manufacturers nominated cars for the award this year. Winners were announced in 7 categories, six awards were voted by a 5-member independent professional jury of car journalists, and the seventh one by the audience.

Mild hybrid Suzuki S-Cross became the winner of the Hungarian Car of the Year Audience Award 2022 category. In an online poll held in February, attended by more than six thousand people, the model of the Esztergom plant won a superior vote out of 58 nominated cars.

In the Hungarian Car of the Year category, after the previous winner SX4 S-Cross and last year's winner Suzuki Vitara, this year the Suzuki S-Cross competed and finally took a silver medal home.

In the Hungarian Car of the Year selection, the professional jury selected the best ones in further 4 categories (Car of Hungary, Green Car of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Automotive Marketing / PR Specialist of the Year). The Suzuki Vitara took the fourth place in the small leisure car category of the Car of Hungary 2022 election.
