Suzuki Arena was handed over

One and a half years after the start of the works, the new city sports hall: Suzuki Arena was handed over on Esztergom Prímás Island on 4 February.

The municipality owned building was realized from Corporate Tax support.
The multifunctional event hall - whose eponymous sponsor is Magyar Suzuki - includes a 200-square-meter event hall and a 500-person grandstand. The Suzuki Arena, which will host sports, cultural and leisure events, is 100 percent barrier-free. The city continues to pay tribute to the greatness of Olympic and world champion fencing athlete Tibor Pézsa: the hall of honour bears his name.
The Suzuki Arena was blessed by Bishop László Pokriva. On behalf of Magyar Suzuki, Masato Atsumi Managing Director and Róbert Krisztián Executive General Manager also participated in the ceremonial opening event.
