Róbert Krisztián continues as Deputy Managing Director of Magyar Suzuki
On the basis of the recommendation of the Board of Directors of Magyar Suzuki Corporation, the General Shareholders’ at the end of May decided that Róbert Krisztián will fill the position of Deputy Managing Director of the Esztergom-based manufacturing company from 1 June 2023. Dr. László Urbán, who has successfully held this position for more than 15 years, will continue his work as a senior advisor to the Board of Directors
Róbert Krisztián graduated as an engineer from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and joined Magyar Suzuki Corporation in 1992. During his career, he has tried himself in many positions and areas: he started in the purchasing department and then took on increasingly responsible roles. For 11 years, until 2010, as General Manager of the Purchasing Department, he played a significant role in the selection and training of Magyar Suzuki Corporation's suppliers and establishing control processes for the development and readiness of parts. He then spent four years managing and coordinating the Accounting & Finance, HR & Legal, IT departments. From May 2014, he was appointed Executive General Manager of Sales and Marketing, and Board Member of Magyar Suzuki Corporation. In May 2022 he was elected as Chairman of MAGE (Hungarian Automotive Association).
Following his appointment as Deputy Managing Director, Róbert Krisztián will continue to serve as Executive General Manager of Sales and Marketing and will be responsible for Corporate Communications and Government Relations.
