Magyar Suzuki supports two organizations in Esztergom this Christmas

For the fourth consecutive year, Magyar Suzuki is not spending money on Christmas gifts for partners, but on supporting local organizations that contribute to healthcare or work to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged or vulnerable groups. As in previous years, the Suzuki community – Magyar Suzuki employees – decided who would receive the financial support of 5 million HUF this year.

As a socially responsible company, Magyar Suzuki Corporation places great importance on supporting local communities and organizations. This commitment has led the company to support the work of regional organizations instead of giving Christmas partner gifts for the last four years. Since last year, employees of the Esztergom-based manufacturing company have been given the chance to decide which organizations receive the donations.

In the fall, employees nominated local organizations from Esztergom and its surrounding area that engage in activities related to healthcare, disadvantaged groups, child development/education, culture, or social services. Based on these nominations, a shortlist was compiled by the Sponsorship Committee, and voting remained open until mid-November. The two organizations that received the most votes were the HÍD Social, Family, and Child Welfare Center and the Esztergom Ambulance Station. HÍD will use its 2.5 million HUF contribution to organize programs, while the ambulance service, through the National Ambulance Foundation, will also receive 2.5 million HUF to purchase medical equipment.

The symbolic Christmas cards were handed over to the representatives of the organizations by Masato Atsumi, Managing Director; Róbert Krisztián, Deputy Managing Director; and Zsuzsanna Bonnár-Csonka, Head of Corporate Communications, on behalf of Magyar Suzuki.
