Magyar Suzuki Corporation Won at the Japan – CEE Investment Summit 2019

It is the first time, the Japan – CEE Investment Summit & Awards annual event acknowledging and supporting cross-border investments and cooperations is being held. Magyar Suzuki Corporation received a prestigious recognition in Tokyo.

The Japan – CEE Investment Summit & Awards was organised by an independent media group CEE Business Media owned by the USA and has been set up to strengthen investment relationships between global investors and CEE countries. Japan is the third greatest foreign investor in the CEE region.

22 companies were awarded in 9 categories on the 25th of April from the 49 Japanese corporations got into the shortlist in the varied award categories. Decisions were made by a VIP jury of 19 members. It is a great honour that Magyar Suzuki Corporation was awarded in the Top Central-Eastern-European Automotive Investors Category in which such companies were nominated as Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland, Honda Motor Europe, or Pilkington Automotive Poland.

CEE countries are increasingly becoming the primary venue of investments in the automotive, manufacturing, high technology, business services, energy industry sectors for large Japanese companies. Besides Poland, Hungary, as well as the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia, are the most important investment targets for Japanese companies. All in all, it is a very excellent recognition that Magyar Suzuki Corporation was selected among the Top Central-Eastern-European Automotive Investors.
