Magyar Suzuki Corporation was awarded the Lifetime Award for Significant Investor

Magyar Suzuki Corporation was awarded the Lifetime Award for Significant Investor at the "Investors of the Year 2023" gala of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) last night. The accolade was accepted by Atsumi Masato, managing director of the manufacturing company based in Esztergom.

During the award ceremony held at the Romanesque Hall of the Museum of Fine Arts, it was mentioned that Magyar Suzuki Corp., founded 33 years ago, is currently a key player in the Hungarian automotive industry. As the first car manufacturer to settle in Hungary after the regime change, it significantly contributed to the country's economic development by introducing advanced technology, valuable know-how, and modern work culture. With over three decades of automotive manufacturing activities, serving as one of the country's major employers and contributing to the development of the Hungarian supplier network, the company earned the HIPA Lifetime Award for Significant Investor.

In his acceptance speech, Masato Atsumi emphasized that the achieved results are not only attributed to the employees of the manufacturing company in Esztergom but also to its partners and suppliers. He added that Magyar Suzuki continues to work towards producing valuable and reliable products in the future, taking into account sustainable production and operations as well.

"For over three decades, my colleagues and I have been continuously working to ensure that our factory and products meet market, legal, and environmental expectations and requirements. Our employees should be able to carry out their responsible work in a safe environment and with appreciation," said managing director Masato Atsumi after receiving the award.
