Magyar Suzuki awarded for outstanding achievements
At this year’s Companies for the Future Award ceremony of the Joint Venture Association (JVSZ), Magyar Suzuki Zrt. was recognised with the prestigious grand prize in the corporate category.
The award is given to the member companies of the JVSZ that achieve outstanding results in the given year and contribute to the sustainable future of the economy through their operations. The evaluation examines factors such as continuous growth, stability, ethical business conduct, transparency, social responsibility and employee satisfaction using a set of criteria developed with the professional support of OPTEN. Based on the decision of the jury, Magyar Suzuki Zrt. won first place in the large enterprise category.
Deputy Managing Director Krisztián Róbert received the award at the ceremony on 22 February from Minister for National Economy Márton Nagy.
Magyar Suzuki has been a dominant player in the Hungarian automotive industry for more than three decades and has a significant impact on the Hungarian economy. Our factory in Esztergom is the third largest and the only European production centre of the Suzuki Group, employing more than 3200 people. By means of our supplier network, we contribute to the livelihood of tens of thousands of families. At the same time, we are committed to sustainable operation, innovation, digitalisation and continuous improvement. The significance of our company’s role within the Suzuki Group is well illustrated by the fact that we handle many group-level tasks from Hungary for the whole of Europe: the supply of spare parts and accessories, IT, legal and compliance services, as well as related services of the Suzuki brand.
