Katalin Novák visited Magyar Suzuki

Katalin Novák, President of the Republic, had a two-day visit to Komárom-Esztergom County where she consulted with the large companies and leaders of the region. As part of the program, the Head of State also visited our plant in Esztergom, where our Vitara and S-CROSS models are being made.

According to Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) data, Komárom-Esztergom has been one of the largest investing counties in the country since 2020. As a stable employer and investor, the companies of the region – including Magyar Suzuki - play a major role in strengthening the performance of the Hungarian economy.

Katalin Novák also visited our company as well after a consultation launched for the large companies, since Magyar Suzuki is one of the largest companies in the country and one of the largest employers in the county. During her stay, she took part in a factory visit, met our colleagues and learned about our company's social responsibility initiatives. Among other things, we discussed the decarbonization efforts of Magyar Suzuki and our parent company and our planned energy efficiency improvements of the near future.
