Hungarian Red Cross recognized the support of Magyar Suzuki Corporation in 2020 with the honorable Sponsor of the Year Award

As a responsible company, Magyar Suzuki Corporation has been a dedicated supporter of the work of local communities and organizations throughout the past thirty years. The company is committed towards that safety in transport and everyday life is based on responsible behavior. For the outstanding support provided by Magyar Suzuki Corporation in 2020 the Hungarian Red Cross donated the prestigious Sponsor of the Year Award to the firm. Managing director Masato Atsumi received the recognition at the St. Adalbert Center in Esztergom.

The Hungarian Red Cross is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year. On this occasion at an award ceremony held at St. Adalbert Center in Esztergom on 25 June 2021, the association expressed its thanks to its partners for their support in 2020 with more than 100 awards. These awards were given by Dr. Zsigmond Göndöcs, president of the Hungarian Red Cross. Masato Atsumi, managing director of Magyar Suzuki Corporation took over the honorary Sponsor of the Year Award and the accompanying certification and crystal award.

Last year, Magyar Suzuki Corporation donated a hybrid Suzuki Vitara to the local organization of the Hungarian Red Cross. In exchange for the use of the car, Hungarian Red Cross also made a serious commitment: in all secondary schools in Esztergom they will make first aid education free of charge for all 11th class students, which is essential for the Highway Code exam. As a leading domestic car manufacturer, Magyar Suzuki Corporation feels that safety is important not only during work, in transportation or in case of Suziki manufactured products.
