The Marine Division of the Magyar Suzuki Corporation joined the Clean-Up the World initiative again this year
It has become a tradition for the Marine Division of Magyar Suzuki to join the parent company's Suzuki Clean-Up the World campaign and participate in a garbage collection together with its distributors and the boating community. This year's cleanup action took place in a cheerful atmosphere in the Danube Bend.
Since 2010, this campaign has been organized worldwide, where members of the Suzuki Marine network, distributors, as well as the marine community, work together to clean up their immediate environment from waste. The primary goal of the Suzuki Clean-Up the World campaign is to protect and preserve the ecosystem of our natural waters and to rid them of the increasingly problematic plastic waste, primarily household waste, which poses a high environmental and natural risk. Last year, more than 2,000 participants from 44 countries on five continents took part in the campaign cleaning up waters and their surroundings.
Magyar Suzuki's outboard motor business unit also participates in the program, which was announced for the end of August this year. Volunteers cleaned the Kismaros-Verőce section, one of the most beautiful parts of the Danube Bend, from waste. After the fun-filled event, all participants were treated to an authentic Hungarian lunch.
